When thousands of people donate no more than $100 per person per election, we can build a campaign without money from special interests. _______________________ But it's about more than money. We need your energy and your enthusiasm, too. Sign up to volunteer on Jim Hansen's campaign for Congress.

A free republic is made strong by a vigorous and independent press. Pulitzer prize-winning journalist Seymour Hersh will share his perspective as part of Boise State University's Distinquished Lecture Series today. Several folks have posted on our forum that distinquished journalist Seymour Hersh is in Idaho today to discuss the behind-the-scenes events that have influenced American foreign policy. Thank you, Ted and Tara, for highlighting this incredible opportunity. For more information go to http://news.boisestate.edu/dls/
I will be taking my son to his soccer practice and then on to scouts this evening so I hope everyone who is able to attend will share their impressions on this site tomorrow. I'll be watching for them. I wish Mr. Hersh could also go to the other campuses in Idaho, including ISU, CSI and BYU-Idaho.
Hersh’s lecture is drawn in part from his 2004 book, “Chain of Command: The Road from 9/11 to Abu Ghraib.” Hersh is also the author of “The Dark Side of Camelot,” about John F. Kennedy, “The Price of Power: Kissinger in the Nixon White House,” which won the National Book Critics Circle Award and The Los Angeles Times Book Award, and “The Target is Destroyed: What Really Happened to Flight 007 and What America Knew About It.”
