When thousands of people donate no more than $100 per person per election, we can build a campaign without money from special interests.

Congress was eager to hold Bill Clinton accountable for something that really didn't impact the country.  Why is Congress now hesitant to make George Bush accountable for a long list of administrative failures and deceptions that have significantly impacted our country?  Has partisanship and party loyalty degraded the American system of checks and balances?

I am quite interested in the answer to this as well.

Yes I believe that it is, or at least is quickly becoming a problem.  Actually that is one of the main reasons that I am getting involved in Jim's campaign.  I am from the eastern part of the state and have been a life long Republican.  The success of the GOP has become a matter of concern rather than celebration.  Having one party dominate breeds corruption, as it loses accountabilty.  Over here, it is not uncommon to open a ballat and see blank spaces!  It leaves you asking, "Is this how it is supposed to be in America?"  Nationally, it is becoming a problem too.  It always makes me nervous to have one party in control of the Senate, the House and the White House.

In the last few years, I have seen both parties streamline and become more extreme.  As a moderate, I feel like a homeless man living under a bridge with no where to go.  I feel a hint of discontent in the air. Now is the time for change.  I believe the Democratic party in Idaho can make some progress this year.  The Democratic party needs to take the lead and become the party of moderation instead of extremes. I don't mean that liberals need to change. They should stay, but moderates need to be brought in. Diversity is strength.

Idaho needs a healthy two party system. Idaho needs you!
